Thanks to my dear friend Megan Smith, I now have a job working at Red Robin. This made me only jobless for two weeks... thank goodness. I have been working there for about three weeks now and am still adjusting. It's completely different from the past few jobs I have had. I'm learning quickly though. I keep telling myself that it gets easier everyday. I'm not making near as much as I was when I was working at Stevens-Henager, but I'm not going to give up. I think that with time I'll start to bring home bigger tips and maybe begin to fill the gap a little more. Money is a killer.

Catching up...
So we haven't posted anything in a while so I decided I would put up a little something to tell how we've been since Dave's Birthday.
We went back to Tucson for the holidays and had a wonderful time seeing all of our family. I must say it was crazy busy, but fun none the less. We were able to attend a "Clay" family reunion at Tina's house Christmas day and see family that we haven't seen in quite some time. We are fortunate enough to have grown up less then 10 minutes away from each other so we were able to celebrate Christmas with both sides. It was nice to see each other growing closer to our in-laws. (It's wonderful feeling like such a part of my new family.) We also had a ton of fun playing with our "niece" Arizona! We miss her playfulness and her personality. The weather was wonderful. Susie and I were able to take a beautiful hike in Sobino Canyon one morning while Dave, Steve and Bruce had the chance to take the guns up to the land and have a wild time. (Boys will be boys. Gotta love them.) By the end of our stay, it was bitter-sweet to be going back home to our little house in Provo.
When we were back in cold Utah, it was nice to slow things down (or so we hoped) and have some time with each other. We arrived on New Years Eve morning to find that our water pipes have been frozen the whole time we have been gone. We tried to heat up the pipes under the house with a space heater like we did last time. Nothing changed. So we said we would deal with it tomorrow... After a fun night counting the seconds with the Tanner's, we realize we don't even have water to use the restroom. They gave us two gallons or so and we hoped that we wouldn't have to depend upon it long. The next morning (New Years Morning mind you- nothing's open), we tried to heat up our pipes again. Still nothing. Finally we decide to check down at the street where our water valve is. What do you know- Our lame neighbors drove over the case with their fancy brand new SUV's and knocked it right off and it was filled with snow! As soon as Dave tries to slowly warm it up with my blow dryer, it bursts and shoots water everywhere. Luckily there was someone on call who could turn off our water and put on a new valve.
Dave drove right back into a full semester of really hard chemistry (my sexy scientist) and I went back to work. Things were really busy for us for the next few weeks. Before we knew it, it was my 21st Bristhday! It was absolutely perfect!! Dave worked so hard to prepare this incredible day for me and it turned out to be unbelievable. He woke me up with my favorite french toast from Kneaders and decorated the room with Hannah Montana Birthday decorations. I received the most amazing piano from all of my family. Work threw me a party. Dave picked me up early from work and brought pink lily's (my favorite). Then we ended the day with a little Wii party at our house with our closest friends. (Oh yeah, he also bought me a Wii.) I really can't portray how wonderful it was. I didn't want to go to sleep that night. Thanks so much Dave. You truly are the best!
Within the few weeks following that, we celebrated our 5 years of being together, Valentine's day with Dave, Steve and myself, and me no longer working at Stevens-Henager College. I'm now in the job hunting stage and hope that I found something promising. I'll let you know soon if I have good news.
Well, that brings us up to date. I hope you enjoyed reading about our busy past few months as we enjoyed living through them.
